Information Collection and Use
We collect and use your information to provide our Services and improve them over time.
Information Collected Upon Registration: When you create or reconfigure a Quextit account,
we do not ask you to provide your name. You do provide some personal information, such as
your username, password, and email address, and various optional demographic information.
Some of this information, for example, your username and selected demographic information,
is listed publicly on our Services, including on your profile page, in any Quexts you
originate or answer, and in search results. Some Services do not require registration.
Identifying Information: We purposely do not ask for information that might be used to
identify you. Quextit is intended to allow people to share opinions without fear of reprisal.
We do not ask for your real name. Your choice of username is yours alone. Your location
information is limited to Country/State, and all other information such as age, education,
occupation, marital status, and ethnicity are sufficiently vague as to describe thousands
of potential people. We use this vital information to help Quexters get their Quexts to
the right target group.
Quexts and other Public Information: Our Services are primarily designed to help you ask for
and share opinions with the world. Most of the information you provide to us will be made public.
This includes not only the Quexts you ask and the metadata provided with them, such as when you
Quexted, but also the answers you provide, and your other activity history, such as your favourite
Quexters and many other bits of information. Our default is almost always to make the information
you provide public, as the service is intended to be as open and accessible as possible. That is
offset by the anonymity we provide. Your public information is broadly and instantly disseminated.
For example, your Quexts are searchable by many search engines and may be immediately delivered via
SMS and/or APIs to a wide range of users and services. You should be careful about all information
that will be made public by Quextit, especially your Quexts, to protect your privacy to the extent
you desire. Some Quexters may want to be identifiable through their username, however that is
clearly their personal choice.
Location Information: Your country and state may be known to any logged in user. It will
accompany your username with any Quexts and in your Quextit answers. Quextit does not record
any other location information.
Log Data: Our servers automatically record information ("Log Data") created by your use of
the Services. Log Data may include information such as your IP address, browser type, the
referring domain, pages visited, and search terms. Other actions, such as interactions with
third parties, may also be included in Log Data. Log Data on individual users will never be
shared with third parties.
Third Party Services: Quextit uses Google Analytics to help understand how you use our Services.
This service collects the information sent by your browser as part of a web page request, including
cookies and your IP address. Google also receives this information and their use of it is governed
Information Sharing and Disclosure
We don't share your private information except in the very limited cases outlined below.
Service Providers: We may use certain highly trusted third party companies to perform functions
and provide services to us. We may share your personal information with these third parties,
but only to the extent necessary to perform these functions and provide such services, and
Law and Harm: If in our opinion in order to comply with a law or other legally binding request,
we may disclose your information. In addition, if in our reasonable opinion we believe it is
necessary to protect the safety of any person, or to deal with technical/security or potential
fraud, or to protect the rights or property or Quextit, we may disclose your information.
Business Transfers: In the event that Quextit is involved in a bankruptcy, merger, acquisition,
reorganization or sale of assets, your information may be sold or transferred as part of that
transferred to the new entity.
Non-Private or Non-Personal Information: We may share or disclose your non-private, aggregated
or otherwise non-personal information.
Modifying Your Personal Information
All registered users of our Services may modify their personal information provided they are
logged in to their account.

Quextit "exemplifies that the fact of knowing who to ask a question to is every bit as important as the actual question"
and "it turns Q & A sites into something which is far more relevant and significant for everybody."
